Transfers in Sri Lanka start at €8.41 for the whole car on the routes we price today. The fare is fixed per vehicle rather than per person, includes tolls and taxes, and is confirmed before you pay — there is no meter and no surge pricing, so the number you see when booking is the number you are charged.
We price transfers from cities including Colombo International Airport Cmb, Kandy, Colombo City, Negombo, Galle, Sigiriya, Hikkaduwa, and Ella and 75 more, to the airports, resorts and towns reachable from each. If a route comes back with prices, it is bookable today.
Card payments are charged in EUR, whatever your card's own currency is — your bank applies its exchange rate and any foreign transaction fee it charges. Where a route lets you pay the driver in cash, that part is settled on the day in Sri Lankan rupee (LKR) or in euros. Prices on the site can be displayed in another currency as a guide, but the amount taken from the card is the EUR figure.
Drivers in Sri Lanka are local and speak Sinhalese and Tamil, and most speak enough English for a transfer. Nothing about the journey depends on conversation: your route, pickup point and destination are on the driver's job sheet before they set off. Our own support team answers in English and Arabic, 24 hours a day, if anything needs explaining on the day.
Every pickup time you choose is local time at the pickup point — Asia/Colombo for Sri Lanka — not your home time zone and not UTC. The same clock is used for the 24-hour free cancellation window, so a cancellation deadline is always counted where the car is, not where you are.
Not at the moment. Transfers in Sri Lanka run between points inside the country — airports, cities, resorts and hotels. If you need to cross a border, message us with the route and we will tell you whether it can be arranged as a private journey.
You receive the driver's name and phone number before pickup, and they message the WhatsApp number on your booking when they arrive. Sri Lanka numbers begin +94, so save it in full international format before you travel — a local number saved without its country code will not dial from a foreign SIM. Our support line is reachable 24 hours a day if you cannot reach the driver.
Nothing you need to do. We track the flight number you give us when booking and move the pickup to your actual arrival, at no extra cost. Airport transfers include up to two hours of free waiting from the scheduled arrival time, which covers immigration and baggage on a slow day. If the delay is long enough to change your plans, message us so we can agree a new time with the driver.
In most of the countries we serve a suitable child seat is a legal requirement for young children, and a driver can refuse the journey if one was not booked. Add the seat while booking, chosen by the child's age, and it travels with the car. Asking for one on the day cannot be guaranteed, and the child still needs a seat of their own in the passenger count.
Yes, up to 24 hours before pickup, counted in local time at the pickup point. Inside 24 hours, and for no-shows, the booking is not refundable, and deposits on part-paid bookings are never refundable. Refunds go back to the card that paid and normally arrive within two to ten business days.
